This is to advise that the BUFC Mens Premier League Futsal team WON the 2009 Mens Futsal Premier League Grand Final last Friday night!!! A great result for BUFC. The boys played one of their best games of the year in front of a good sized crowd at the AIS. The team beat the Boomerangs team 4 - 1, a very comprehensive result indeed in a Grand Final.
In addition, Taylor Beaton was declared "Player of the Tournament" in the Mens Premier League for 2009 and was presented with a unique trophy by John Logue (CF President) for this achievement. Well done and congrats to Taylor! Well deserved indeed!!! A huge congrats goes to the entire BUFC Mens Premier League team players - Dusty Wells; David Leet; Cameron Reinhart; Taylor Beaton; Cameron Beaton; Andy McLaren; and Ben Klug. The two BUFC Womens Premier League teams didn't fair quite as well not making it past the Semi Final stage of the Womens competition. However, it was great to see Brittany Smale being the second highest goal scorer in the entire Womens Premier League competition, well done! The Womens Premier League Grand Final was played between the Boomerangs team and the Woden Valley Timberwolves team with the Boomerangs winning 4 - 0. Herwig Reinhart
